weekly catch-up

Here's some pictures from this week of things I've done...

I typed out my bucket list and now have it hanging in my cube at work to remind me of all the things I want to do and (hopefully) keep me motivated to achieve them all!  Kristy and I are already planning a trip later this year to do Four Corners.  Should be fun!!

I converted my mom's peanut butter cookie recipe to vegan.  I'm getting really good at the whole vegan recipe transformation thing.  I ate WAY too many of these things this week.  They were just SO good!

I've been reading Sheri Dew's new book, "Women and the Priesthood."  I really liked this quote she has in there from C.S. Lewis...

Packing for Florida!  I went shopping yesterady (and spent way too much money...).  I bought new sandals for the beach, sunglasses, vegan snacks, bandaids for blisters and other owies at the amusement parks, and a new swim suit.  Guess what size my new suit is?  A 16!!!  I was so excited when I put it on in the dressing room and it fit!!  :)

Last night we watched the Cultural Celebration that everyone in the new Gilbert temple district put on.  It was POURING rain last night, but the show must go on!  I felt bad for all the kids that were singing and dancing out in the rain and mud, but they did a great job.  The show was awesome.

This morning we got to participate in the dedication of the new Gilbert temple.  Such a cool experience.  The Spirit was so strong.  I love the temple.  I can't wait to be able to go do a session there!

This is my cross-stitch Santa ornament collection.  I've been working on it for the last 10+ years.  And it continues to grow.  These are the current Santas I have...

And these are some new additions I've done so far this year...

I have about another 10 kits currently, and there are about a 10-12 more that I still need to purchase, then I will have the complete set!  I love my collection and I have a lot of fun doing them.
