I was in charge of Christmas this year. I decided I wanted to do a "Nephite Christmas" theme. Over Thanksgiving I had everyone color an Indian headband in preparation.
CHRISTMAS EVE:
We did fry bread/Navajo tacos for dinner. So good!
The ridiculous treat table.
I made fruit Grinches. They didn't turn out as perfect as they looked on Pinterest. But seriously? When does ANYTHING turn out as perfect as it looks on Pinterest? They were still delicious and they all got eaten.
After dinner and the small program I put together we did some crackers! They're a fun family tradition that we all like.
Christmas punch!
CHRISTMAS DAY:
Josh playing on his phone Christmas morning as we were waiting for everyone to come over so we could open presents.
Santa came!!
The aftermath. Got lots of great stuff: books, jewelry, lotion, gift cards, sewing kits, and money. Just to name a few.
Found this awesome kiddie play tent that we gave to Papa and the grandkids. So cool!
After we had lunch (grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup), we all went out to put in a few minutes work into the backyard as we are furiously trying to get everything ready for Faith and Josh's wedding open house in a few days!
Then Julia and J.R. gave her new camera a test drive by singing a song and recording it.
For dinner we went over to Grandpa and Grandma McLaws' house for the McLaws Christmas party.
Julia wasn't feeling good after dinner so she laid down. Barbara and John went over and sat down next to her and talked to her so she wouldn't be alone.
