singing in the rain
Yesterday was cold and rainy all day. It was so nice. The week before it had been creeping up into the 90's. I know I live in Arizona, but it's April!! I can deal with the hot weather when it's supposed to be hot, but April is not supposed to be hot. Even here! I went to the temple yesterday afternoon and when we came out it was even hailing! Crazy. This morning, there is not a cloud in the sky but it is still nice and chilly. I wearing sock and a hoodie and wishing it wasn't Sunday so I could go out and get another hot chocolate from Starbuck's... I've had the lines to a song stuck in my head all week. I'm not really sure what that means (the fact that it has literally been all week), but the line just won't leave me alone. "My kingdom awaits, and they've forgiven my mistakes. I'm coming home." The rest of the song is pretty good (I like it) but that one line, for some reason, just won't leave me alone. Anyone have any deep philosophical musings they'd like to share on that?
